Discovering Weinberg

Our concert cycle “Mazel Tov International” has an important task: to perform works by persecuted composers. We discovered Weinberg, a composer persecuted by both the Nazis and by Stalin, who wrote wonderfully faceted music. I am so happy that the score for his phenomenal piano trio still exists, and that we have the privilege to perform it.
