I want to be angry!

After two years of Corona forced break, the new composition with the text by Thomas Bernhard will be premiered on 18 Nov. I am really very happy to finally be able to send the invitation, to be present at the rehearsal, etc. I would like to thank the singers, the conductor and the instrumentalists for their patience.

The project brings together new music with the unknown and controversial psalms of Thomas Bernhard. In the explosive tension between music and literature, his anger is expressed profanely and sacrally. The title “I want to be angry” reflects our difficult current situation. When I composed this piece, I never dreamed that war would break out in Ukraine.

Shall we attend the premiere together in St. Matthew’s Church?

Let us cry out together: “We will be angry!”.
