Many small encounters make up life

Perhaps life consists of a series of many small encounters. These encounters are forgotten once and for all. But sometimes new and often true friendships arise from them.

I dedicated the ‘Geras Piano Variations’ to André. He is a man who has seen many places in the world. But he loves the small, boring village of Geras. This time, the piece will be played by the passionate and virtuoso pianist Minako in Zurich.

The encounter is a coincidence. When a new artistic project emerges from it, it is a heart-wrenching and at the same time truly life-affirming experience.
