Strong women

Here are eight strong women from the Berlin Women’s Vocal Ensemble. They sing ‘Gib mir Schnaps, Ruhm und Liebe’ (Give me brandy, glory and love) from Thomas Bernhard’s psalm ‘Ich will zornig sein’ (I will be angry), which I composed.

Who would have thought that the altar of St Matthew’s Church would become a pub and the distinguished ladies would become drunkards?
